So, I am on my computer. My conversations are saved. Then I needed to leave but kept my conversation going on my phone. I believe that after the conversation, in the settings of Lync Mobile, I should be able to choose which Email address represent my work Email so that all conversations from it is sent to my inbox which could then be ruled into my conversation history folder.
The company I used to work for used Jabber for enterprise chat, Spark. There are a lot of companies who use Jabber systems for company wide chats. I believe that Lync Online should support Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol, at least for chat, so that if they need to communicate with someone who uses Jabber, we can. Persistent chat rooms are used a lot for call centers and work groups. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/lync-help/what-is-persistent-chat-HA102919098.aspx This is a feature that users of Jabber systems have as a standard feature and Lync Online does not have.
