I know this is completely against MS ideas but a number of customer are disappointed of limitations of Lync voice features at the moment but they want other features like chat and desktop sharing and conferencing. If Lync would support RCC with a common protokol like CSTA this would boost the market.
I require the ability to manage desktop phone "call forwarding" state from Lync Mobile app.
So I can enable call forwarding on PBX, when I'm already away.
I think Lync Server is not correctly handling the SIP CANCEL message with cause=200. Scenario: calls are dual forked by the PBX, one goes to the SIP phone, the other one goes through the SIP trunk to Lync Server. UserB (person call parked for) are able to answer a parked call (external call incoming /thru pstn/sip) EVEN after "CallPickupTimeoutThreshold" completes and when the call is ringing back to the user who parked the call (UserA). So at this time the call is ringing back to UserA, but if UserB picks up the parked call (and they can), UserA will continue to ring! In the same scenario as here:
when the external caller has timed-out and is ringing back to UserA, the external Caller hears a combination of ringing and music on hold. Instead of just MoH, or ring back tone.

Developers should have hooks into the API (either through a connected Lync Client SDK or some other means) to push content to this device and/or interact with it better and be able to control its operations.
Could be great if I can decide to forward calls based on type of incoming call. For instance external incoming call has to be forwarded; internal call not.
The Calling Party Name Display on outgoing PSTN calls should be able to refelect the department the user is in. Pesonal name should be displayed as an option on internal calls. Having only the numbers 1-9 available as key mapping options is fairly restrictive. It would be extremely helpful if the Exchange UM Auto Attendant could recognize two digit key mappings.
Currently, you can "Overwrite" the Caller ID Number (phone number), but not the Caller NAME
would like to put "ENTERPRISE NAME (111-111-1111)" for outbound call !!!
