One of the great assets of a Microsoft world is flexibility to do things your own way.
So I would like to see a downloadable version of LRS as software from VLCS that you can install on a custom PC.
Plug in to you preexisting TV or projector then add a mic, webcam and Lync control panel and have a “God enough” Room system.

When dialing a phone number using a Lync room system a reverse look up is done in AD and if a number is found then that person is called via Lync to Lync. For instance, trying to call a colleague (who is EV enabled and uses Lync regularly) on his/her mobile phone produces a Lync - Lync call instead of calling the cell phone as originally intended.
It would be great to have a small touch PC offering the LRS functionality and then having this displayed to the whiteboard using a projector.
This would allow more interactive presentations at universities or in bigger conference rooms.
Just because we are using a Lync Room System doesn't mean that every call is a video call. We should have an option to set the LRS to start all calls as audio only.
Update whiteboard with various sized/colored square/rectangle components that allow text and drawings to facilitate collaboration similar to using 'sticky-notes' for brainstorming and design. Also provide a away to indicate who contributed which objects on the board.
