Support for alternative voicemail
The only supported platform for Voicemail is Exchange UM. Microsoft should allow third party voicemail integration.

I am using lync. i feel , it is very slow compare to other IM. even I can't chat and send file they are in offline. I should wait instill he back to his seat. in our company nobody like lync. we have more than 60 licenses it comes with Office365, still everybody uses only Skype , it is very user friendly. please try to improve performance and think as a end user.
As it was in MSN, it would be nice if the Lync will also have the "Appear Offline" status.
There are times when you get blasted with many IM messages at one time. If I could see that someone already had an IM session open, I would not IM them and hope others would do the same or at least know you are one of many IMs the person has going. If you could see perhaps with a number next to the name indicating how many current sessions are in progress, it would cut back on IMs that can wait or be sent with email.
I know this is completely against MS ideas but a number of customer are disappointed of limitations of Lync voice features at the moment but they want other features like chat and desktop sharing and conferencing. If Lync would support RCC with a common protokol like CSTA this would boost the market.
When seeking to IM contact, and the contact is busy, this feature would notify you when contact is available.
Is it possible to get a option in LYNC to set voor every account a welcome message so for example if you make a call to Microsoft you will hear "Welcome to Microsoft"and after that the call will transfer to the user.
It would be good to see a conferencing policy option that has a time limit setting for how long someone is able to control a machine, once they have passed the time limit they can request control again, This would be a useful security feature, as users may forget someone has control to their machine leaving the machine exposed.
while there is a privately owned Lync directory that is very handy, http://www.lyncdirectory.com/ it would be better if each Lync server automatically listed in a Microsoft owned Lync Federation Directory to speed up searching for lync contacts.
For ease of installation, it would be nice to have the Deployment Wizard be able to install the prerequisites, such as hotfixes, features, and roles that are necessary for installation.
Similar to Exchange, SQL and SharePoint.
There needs to be a method for Lync and QQ to talk. This may not be for everyday business use, but certainly extends the audience.
It would be nice to have an HTML5 web based control panel for lync server, instead of the silverlight based one , since after experiencing the Exchange 2013 ECP seems there's a considerable performance differences, between both control panels, especially in term of speed
The current version of pAuth requires turning off other authentication types. NTLM & Kerberos . It would be more preferable if later CU's supported enabling pAuth, possibly for mobility only without having to disable the other authentication types which significantly hobbles Lync.
