Lync Phone Edition EWS Integration

For organizations that require password changes (which almost all do), when I change my Active Directory account password it does not update the password on Lync Phone Edition. Generally this isn't an issue as the phone keeps working, BUT, Exchange intregration on the phone becomes unavailable because my password is wrong. I cannot view Call Logs, Voicemails, or Calendar on the phone. It requires me (and our users)... more »

Lync Meeting Invite

to be able to include in the invite automatically, the link to join via a web client, in other words, with "?sl=1" at the end of the meeting path.

Clients with closed federations who can't join the meeting using their Lync client, could then just click on the Web Client Only link.

GUI and PS command to see who is federating with me

When running open federation the only way of checking which organizations that are federating with your organization is to go into your edge server (in that workgroup in that DMZ), open the event viewer and look for Event ID 14601. Here you will find a list of all active domains (organizations) that are currently federating with you.

My suggestion is that this list should be visible in the Lync Server Control Panel... more »

Consolidated Release Notes for Cumulative Updates

Whenever a new CU is released, the Microsoft Knowledge base article references a separate KB article for each component that is included in the update. When 10+ components get updated, it is tedious to check each individual article for fixes/improvements.

I would like to see a summary that covers the Release Notes for all components that a CU applies to in the main article.
