Hello! I work with teams in 6 different time zones. I try to make first contact with many team members on SFB. These team members show up as 'not on line', and that's OK, however I would like to know how long I need to wait before checking again (mental clock setting). please allow optional display of a contact's actual time at their location under their name. This must be take from computer's set time and time zone. That would allow for people who travel to set a new time zone and then this would always be correct.
Hi, what about a clock in clock out feature? when clocking in Lync informs a selected person that you are at work?
I would love for Lync to have the ability to provide an overlay displaying the time zone where a user is located. Being able to graphically see a color or indication of time zone would be helpful in selecting which team member to contact.
All too often you may be searching for someone and unknowingly send a message to the wrong person with a similar name. Sometimes in the worst case, you may send a message about cats or something silly to a manager way higher up instead of that friend, with obvious repercussions.
