Lync/Skype4B Improvement Suggestions Ideas

In many occasions there is an interesting meeting which you are not able to attend as it might be conflicting with other meeting or all-together does not fit conviniently with your working hours.
It would be helpful to shcedule a meeting to be recorded in advance without having to actually attend it and then start the recording.

Right now, you can configure different notification settings for messages submitted to chat rooms. But those settings also apply to your own messages. So, if you have the client running on multiple machines, you get the notifications for messages you submit. Would be nice if there was a 'disable notifications for your own messages' setting.

If you create a Group in Lync 2013 you can right click the group and send IM. Cool. It would be even better if the IM window name displayed the group name instead of "Conversation (x Participants)"

Out of the box the RGS reports are quite good. The biggest complaint I get is when customers see the abandoned calls percentage then ask "Why were these abandoned?".

You have to drill down into offered calls and work it out on the SIP response codes. It would be a lot better if there was an "Unanswered Calls" column that you could drill down into. This would just need to show the call and why it wasn't answered.... more »

I would like to see Lync 2013 updated to have the ability to work properly in an environment that has both Exchange 2007 and 2013 running in a coexistence scenario. Currently if pointed to Exch 2013 but your mailbox is not migrated yet, Exch 2013 does a fine job at being a proxy and not causing an outage to the end user. This is just an Idea, please ignore if already implemented, but it will be good if we get to know about the meeting title the person is attending when we hover over the person contact in Lync contact.

I miss the GroupChats layout. On that the names were not taking up space between the messages and there was no "air" between the messages. This meant I could see three times as many messages on the same screen space. I could get the overview of a situation much faster, since I didn't have to scroll to get a bit more history.

The ability to send a generic Archiving Disclaimer to federated partners is nice, but not nearly sufficient for many organizations. I have seen requests by legal and security departments that wish for their to be more visibility, or more specifically warning, for a user that is about to communicate with a federated partner. While a disclaimer helps with some of that, disclaimer messages are sometimes glossed over. I am developing bot using Lync 2013,so whenever user enter any character like :), :( , :D it becomes emoticons. Lync 2013 keeps them automatically turning characters I type into little face, cups of coffee, and other stupid icons so I want to control the turn off emoticons through code using lync 2013 api.

Using lync 2013 api,I am trying to send image using the below code. actually image is transferring to participant,but it is not showing as inline/embed image instead storing in to temporary location "C:\Users\testlync\Documents\My Received Files".

Is there any way to display as inline/embed image in the conversation windows itself.
