In a new world of having to find all ways to save our customers money, Lync has been a platform that's allowed us to demonstrate rather quick ROI and overall Unified Communications TCO reductions. But recently we've noticed a negative trend to this with the Lync for Mobile 2013 client. Unfortunately we don't live in a world where everyone has unlimited data plans on their smartphones domestically, but even worse ...more »
I'd love to be able to schedule Lync meetings directly from my mobile devices. Neither my RT or my Windows Mobile are suitable for full mobility as I have to either use the Desktop client or access OWA (on a small factor screen - not ideal)
The Windows and Mac clients are able to utilize DNS records besides Lyncdiscover for automatic client configuration. Why can't the mobile client do the same? SRV records in particular would allow for much simpler namespace and certificate management in environments with a large number of SIP addresses.
I am up and down from my desk and leave many Lync (Skype for Business) messages hanging. If I open my mobile version, the answers my desktop may have received do not show up on my phone and the previous comments in our discussion are not there, either. Have a persistent updating of both desktop and mobile to keep the conversations in sync only makes sense for people on the go (which is nearly everyone these days). I ...more »
Call from Lync Mobile to federated contact/user and share content without creating conference
This would help training so so much. Right now we can use airplay to mirror and record training sessions or do live sales demos, but when you add A/V, airplay is blocked. This is NOT blocked in the iPhone, but in the iPhone, Lync audio isn't airplayed either.

If you create a contact in Outlook with only a name and a PSTN-number it shows up correctly on the desktop client since it fetches contact data from both Lync and Exchange. But on the mobile the client shows up as a PSTN-number as displayname. Please make chat rooms and history available on mobile devices.
I would like the option to have my Skype4B mobile client update my presence to "in a call" when I make or receive a non-Skype4B cellular call when the Skype4B client is running in the background.
Please enable the ability to remove the mobile location status from the iOS app. I would only like to show that I am available and not how I'm connected.
In old edition of mobile communicator client when you open a contact on your windows phone your had the option to call via work. It would great if that feature was added to windows phones running the Lync client.
