Lync Room System and Legacy interoperability

Customers really like the Lync Room Systems. They perfectly fit the Lync experience from mobile to table and desktop clients. A very common request is to be able to integrate with legacy (H.323, or SIP (H.264) videoconferencing endpoints. Sometimes customers have 100+ of those Cisco or Polycom endpoints. Lync Room System Reverse Lookup

When dialing a phone number using a Lync room system a reverse look up is done in AD and if a number is found then that person is called via Lync to Lync. For instance, trying to call a colleague (who is EV enabled and uses Lync regularly) on his/her mobile phone produces a Lync - Lync call instead of calling the cell phone as originally intended.

In most environments there is already a conference environment. One of the great assets of a Microsoft world is flexibility to do things your own way. So I would like to see a downloadable version of LRS as software from VLCS that you can install on a custom PC. Lync Room System Multi-Touch Support

One of the selling points for LRS is the idea of being able to collaborate on a shared touch whiteboard with others remotely. I recently tried an LRS out and found that the Lync software does not suport multi-touch. So you can only use 1 finger (or pen) at a time.
