Chat continuity from desktop to/from mobile

I am up and down from my desk and leave many Lync (Skype for Business) messages hanging. If I open my mobile version, the answers my desktop may have received do not show up on my phone and the previous comments in our discussion are not there, either. Force users to follow persistent chat rooms

I would like a way to force a user to follow a chat room. I have some IT chat rooms that i use to broadcast important messages to the IT team so i don't have to over use the mail system. I have asked nicely for the IT members to follow the rooms but some still have not. i am not the manager of them so i can't "boss" them to do it, but if i could force them some way in the background that would make my life easier

the ability to add users to chat room on the fly

I love the Lync persistent chat room feature but here is a scenario that i would like to resolve. i have a chat room for all IT members and all are allowed in it. some kind of issue arises and i need to tell them all a system is down and being worked on. i make the annocement in the persistent chat room but not everyone is in it cause they close the window and exit the room. now i have send out multiple group ims to either ...more »

Implement search / review of persistent chat

Looking for details from several days ago in a busy persistent chat is a complete pain. There is no way to search for relevant information, and no way to quickly view a particular time series. There should be a search function for persistent chats that allows you to specify a time period to search in and/or specific text. Remove white space from Lync Persistent Chat interface

Lync 2013 Persistent chat has reduced the amount of meaningful information on the screen to about 25% of what is used to be in Chat 2010. Eg: On my screen now, I can see approx. 8 unique entries, but on 2010, on the same screen, I could see over 30 entries. Lync Online: Persistent Chat Rooms

Persistent chat rooms are used a lot for call centers and work groups. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/lync-help/what-is-persistent-chat-HA102919098.aspx This is a feature that users of Jabber systems have as a standard feature and Lync Online does not have. "Broadcast a message" should support drag and drop

If you right click on a pchat room in the Lync 2013 client, you can broadcast a message. But you can't drag more chat rooms into that list. You have to close it and then select all of the chat rooms and right click. It would be nice if you could drag and drop chat rooms into the list if the dialog box is already open.
