This may be more of a SQL issue (and dare I say bug?) than a Lync issue (bug?) but I am posting it here as it affects Lync and Skype servers. I have a customer with multiple sites and each site has a special dial code we have implemented that starts with an "*" (eg - *035). When a user calls this number the call itself works just fine but when it tries to write the data for that call to the monitoring reports we get ...more »
The Lync/Skype4B client and mobile app should have an option to update our linkedin profile link in our Lync/Skype4B profile as an optional feature. That will actually help the work groups and peers to stay connected more efficiently in a professional manner and able to know each other more closely.

I am developing bot using Lync 2013,so whenever user enter any character like :), :( , :D it becomes emoticons. Lync 2013 keeps them automatically turning characters I type into little face, cups of coffee, and other stupid icons so I want to control the turn off emoticons through code using lync 2013 api.
is there any way to control using lync api ?
There are a lot of times, participants login to conference cal,l but do not mute or forget to mute their phone. This leads to unnecessary voice distortion.
Please empower "Meeting Anchor" with ability to view which user has mute / un-mute their phone. Also he should be able to "mute" a participants line as required.
The contactlist integration of the mobile client is not uptodate with the Windowsclient. If you create a contact in Outlook with only a name and a PSTN-number it shows up correctly on the desktop client since it fetches contact data from both Lync and Exchange. But on the mobile the client shows up as a PSTN-number as displayname. Contacts and contact management is generally good, however it lacks the finesse that could make it awesome. I find myself continually frustrated with what is a seemingly simple but highly important feature. I don't think I have seen a single deployment without a least 1 issue - Outlook integration, duplicate contacts, disappearing phone numbers, inability to search contacts added to custom groups, poor or hopelessly ...more »
Build Exchange UM functionality in to Skype for Business, in particular native voicemail.
Current integration is average, there is overlap in functionality and management and routing is not consistent.
I have seen requests by legal and security departments that wish for their to be more visibility, or more specifically warning, for a user that is about to communicate with a federated partner. While a disclaimer helps with some of that, disclaimer messages are sometimes glossed over. It would be incredible if perhaps the conversation window and tab of a federation partner conversation could be shaded differently from ...more »
The ability to send a generic Archiving Disclaimer to federated partners is nice, but not nearly sufficient for many organizations. For instance, some may have legal departments that wish to convey more than a simple Archiving Disclaimer - they may wish to remind both parties that the conversation is taking place with a Federated Partner, and not with an internal contact (sometimes we can glaze over things with the tabbed ...more »
This is mainly useful for people who work part time Capability: - Outlook gives option to select work hours - Lync gives option to record normal voice mail greeting message and OOF greeting message which needs to be turned by calling mailbox number when you are away. Idea- Idea is to setup working hours in outlook and let Lync change the greetings based on working hours selected so if personal is on leave, OOF lync ...more »
There is not a known way of modifying the Join Skype Meeting text when using the New Skype Meeting in Outlook. Being able to modify it would cause less confusion as we work through the rebranding.
