Show forwarding status as presence/on contact card

When a user has set the forwarding to a PSTN/mobile number, (s)he can possibly be reached even if the presence shows the user as "offline".

I think the presence should show the forwarding status (just like Skype does, btw) for example as "offline with call forwarding".

The contact card should also show some additional details (e.g. "forwarded to xxx") to users in the workgroup/friends and family groups.

Call forwarding based on presence

I know there were tons of call forwarding asks. But what about if we ask at first a tiny improvement for the call forwarding. If we ask too much, most of the cases we do not get anything. So the most simplest help is, if users (or administrator as a default or using GPO) can define what shall happen when user's status is "in a meeting", "do not disturb (currently call forwarding does not work at all with DND), "busy" ...more »

Call forwarding default timeout as a Global Option

At this moment the default 20sec timeout for call forwarding could be managed by users or via SEFAUtil.

I think could be more practice if this (and some other call forwarding option) became Global Option, managed by a new Policy. The administrator could set it for all, or for some Group of users, could set it mandatory or not and so on....

Delegate backup

If delegates are associated with the task to answer calls for a manager, the manager sets "Simultaneous call" to the delegate, but then the delegate needs to go on lunch break or in a long meeting. The delegate should be able to either change the call forwarding settings of the manager, or set call forwarding to a backup person who will ALSO receive the calls of the manager. Konfiguration for unanswered calls should be persistent.

The Setting for unanswered calls resets every time the user sets the call forwarding to a Special Destination.

 

For example:

 

1. User has no voicemail enabled

2. User sets destination for unanswered calls to the central office number

3. Now, the user sets a call forwarding to a colleague

4. After disabling the call forwarding, the konfig for unanswered calls resets to "no voicemail, ringing for 20 seconds.
