when you add an outlook contact as a favorite in your SFB PC client the contact gets added to the mobile SFB client only as a number and no name. The same issue is seen in the phone edition as well.
I would like the option to have my Skype4B mobile client update my presence to "in a call" when I make or receive a non-Skype4B cellular call when the Skype4B client is running in the background.
I am up and down from my desk and leave many Lync (Skype for Business) messages hanging. If I open my mobile version, the answers my desktop may have received do not show up on my phone and the previous comments in our discussion are not there, either. Have a persistent updating of both desktop and mobile to keep the conversations in sync only makes sense for people on the go (which is nearly everyone these days). I ...more »
The contactlist integration of the mobile client is not uptodate with the Windowsclient. If you create a contact in Outlook with only a name and a PSTN-number it shows up correctly on the desktop client since it fetches contact data from both Lync and Exchange. But on the mobile the client shows up as a PSTN-number as displayname. Please make chat rooms and history available on mobile devices.
The Windows and Mac clients are able to utilize DNS records besides Lyncdiscover for automatic client configuration. Why can't the mobile client do the same? SRV records in particular would allow for much simpler namespace and certificate management in environments with a large number of SIP addresses.
This would help training so so much. Right now we can use airplay to mirror and record training sessions or do live sales demos, but when you add A/V, airplay is blocked. This is NOT blocked in the iPhone, but in the iPhone, Lync audio isn't airplayed either.
I would like to make more lync-calls from my windows phone and it would be great if you could create a shortcut to lync application dialpad or connect phone Contacts to lync.
In Android if you select a Contact the phone asks if you should use lync or mobile to make the call. windows phone does not have the same function..
It would be great to be able to answer response group calls from the mobile client. If they ring, you should be able to answer.
It would be great if you could configure mobile clients so that they don't receive response group calls or can only receive calls from contacts/defined list. It would also be nice if this could be set differently in and out of business hours.
For example - you might not want to receive support desk calls after hours, but may want to allow colleges to contact you directly.
I'd love to be able to schedule Lync meetings directly from my mobile devices. Neither my RT or my Windows Mobile are suitable for full mobility as I have to either use the Desktop client or access OWA (on a small factor screen - not ideal)
